Bachelor Thesis from the year 2015 in the subject Computer Science - Applied, grade: 1, course: Virtualization, Cloud & Building a Private Cloud, language: English, abstract: This book takes you through two of the most important innovations happened in the past couple years. The first chapter will give you an overview of Virtualization technology and how it transferred our physical data centers to virtualized ones. The second chapter covers some topics in the Cloud Computing world, mainly private cloud. The third chapter takes you through the steps of building a private cloud using Microsoft technologies like System Center 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2. It is the implementation of my own design which I have done for my school. I hope you will enjoy it.
About the Author: Hey, Nice to Meet you. This is Ahmed Mehiny. My passion to work in the IT field started while I was working as a production supervisor at an International Factory in Egypt 2007-2008. I really wanted at that time to know more about how computer works and how the world is connected through the internet ....and lots of questions. By the end of my contract with the factory, I got an offer to work part time as IT Specialist in an IT education Center where I was apple to learn by asking the instructors there and applying my knowledge on real networks. It was a great chance for me to practice and work from 2008 to 2010. My biggest challenge to get full time job was that I don't have a degree in CS (Rules Rules Rules). By the end of 2009 I got accepted in Fulbright Scholarship to study CS at Butte College in USA for a year. yeeeeeessssss My life turned up down when I went to US first time where I started interacting for the first time in my life with people from different cultures. It was Amazing experience that affects my life till now. After one year achievements in US (GPA 4.0/4.0, Two Internships, ....etc) I went back to Egypt where I immediately got hired as System/Network Admin in a big company in the IT outsourcing . But I still wanted to get my Bachelor degree to be able to join bigger companies in the field and get promoted. After about four months working in Egypt. I got a full Scholarship to get my Bachelor degree in Communication Networks & Security, from the Macedonian Government and here I am doing my last year. Couple month ago I started to be more active with the Red Cross in the city where I live. I am responsible for everything related to the IT in the office, I also hold some IT workshops where I train mostly high school students.
