About the Author: Frank Yu was born in Sichuan, China, and grew up in Taiwan, China. He has a B.S. degree from Tunghai University, a M.S. degree from University of Massachusette at Amherst, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin. All in chemical engineering. He was a process engineer in plant design. After retired, he joins the volunteer work to teach English (ESL). He also does translation and writing.
