It also takes a stand against doctors who indulge in bribery and other forms of corruption. About the Author - Dr. Kumar Nanaware, M.B.B.S, D.V.D., originally hails from Kolhapur. He successfully served Maharashtra’s Public Health Department in the capacity of a Class 1 Medical Officer from 1983 to 2017, to include over 33 years of active medical service. During this time, he performed more than 10,000 post mortems, which often included complicated and critical cases. His duties also served him to attend the Bombay Session Court along with many other local courts, to testify as the government’s expert medical witness. He served as a medical officer in the renowned Dr. R. N. Cooper Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, between 1983 and 1986. Dr. Nanaware first achieved fame as a writer through his previous publications to include Mi Sarkari Doctor, Premachi Maitri, and Rogi Mansachya Rogat Katha. He writes with fearless conviction, which can be attributed both to his expertise as a medical professional and his straightforward nature as a human being.
