Operation Triple X is set in the background of Indo-Pak relationship which historic events witnessed change of leadership in both the countries and two wars reshaped the geography of Pakistan and added new concerns to India's geostrategic security. The story is based on shadows of real life players in India and Pakistan and a real life Indian spy, who made it big for the country, but failed to return to hero's welcome. However, the story ends happily, with a perfect union between a daring Indian youth and a beautiful Pakistani Lady. A battle weary soldier is extolled for bravery, but a spy’s exploits are not extolled in media. The book justly glorifies the exploits of an Indian spy at a crucial juncture of Indo-Pak relationship.
