About the Author

Dr. Shailendra Kumar Jain is a Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. He has around 20 years of teaching and research experience. His areas of specialization are: Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, Power Quality Improvement, Active Power Filter/High Power Factor Converters / STATCOM / Multilevel Inverters, Microprocessor and Microcontrollers Applications, Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Generation, Electric & Hybrid Vehicles etc. Dr. Sanjeevan Kapshe works as Professor (Management Studies) , Railway Staff College, Vadodara (Gujarat), Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai, as the Head  of Derivatives and New Products Department (DNPD), on deputation from Ministry of Railways, Government of India, Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer (Projects), West Central Railway, Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh). He is also a Guest Faculty at IIM Trichy, IIM Udaipur.
