About the Author

Lindsey Taylor is currently a Senior Lecturer in Leisure and Tourism following a career in Hotel and Conference Management and marketing. She has worked extensively with Awarding Bodies as a Principal Examiner and has been involved in writing the unit specifications for the new A level in Travel and Tourism.

Ray Barker is currently programme leader for sport and leisure at the University of Hull. He has worked extensively with awarding bodies on new qualifications and is an experienced writer. Ray has worked in the leisure industry for adventure tourism companies and public sector leisure providers, and has taught at institutions in Scotland, England, Wales and the USA.
