Every individual has their own definition when it comes to love. I believe that love is simply whatever you make it. I created this love poetry collection to show the different phases I experienced when it comes to love. I know a lot of you can relate. Enjoy.
About the Author
Writing has helped me in more ways than I could imagine. Since my adolescent years, Ive used my pen to help me transform my emotions into words. The more pain I felt, the more in depth my poems became. As a result, I learned from my lessons and passed on the wisdom I gained from my wounds. As far as my accomplishments in life are concerned, I graduated from Robert Fulton Elementary School as Valedictorian. At Curie Metropolitan High School, I submitted a documentary, along with two classmates, for the C- Span 2009 Student Cam Competition. As a result, I was interviewed by ABC 7 Chicago and featured on the front page of the Southwest Daily News Herald Newspaper. As far as activities go, I was a member of Student Council, Mayor Daleys Book Club, and I participated in After School Matters Sports Broadcasting Apprenticeship for two years. I graduated from Richard J. Daley College as a communication major. Im now doing what I always dreamed of, publishing my books. I feel as though my voice deserves to be heard.
