Indian Writing in English: Critical Ruminations Vol. II is the collection of some scholarly papers contributed by different scholars and teachers of English. The papers evaluate critically some poets, novelists and dramatists of Indian Writing in English. The writers discussed in this anthology are R.n. Tagore, Sri Aurobindo, M.R. Anand, Bhabani Bhattacharya, R.P. Jhabavala, Kamala Markandaya, Anita Desai, Shashi Deshpande, Arundhati Roy, Vikram Seth, Manju Kapur, Vijay Tendulkar, Mahesh Dattani, Nissim Ezekile and B.S. Naikar. The last two papers deal with the Muslim Women Feminist Writing and the dalit feminism of Indian English literature.
About Author :
Dr. Amar Nath Prasad teaches English at Jagdam Collge (J.P. University) Chapra (Bihar). He is an author and editor of several books of English Literature. He has authored three books, co-authored two books and edited and co-edited more than a dozen books.
Dr. S. John Petter Joseph teaches English at St. Xavier's College, an autonomous College ( nationally assessed and accredited with Five Stars by U.G.C.) at Palayamkottai in the district of Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. He has to his credit several scholarly papers published in different books and journals. He has attended and presented papers in different seminars and conferences.
