About the Author: Stan Hogeweg was born in the Netherlands and raised in Redlands, California. An avid reader in youth, he derived inspiration for Etched from such works of magic and adventure as Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Etched was written and published during his senior year in high school, leading into plans to pursue literary studies in college.
