"There had better be a damn good reason for all this..."Wen has a plan and a dangerous glint in her eye. The crow bar and air rifle are not reassuring. Neither is the presence of a black-clad figure in the back seat of the car...Albion, a land where standing stones choose to disappear and time itself is unreliable. Ancient stone, Norse gods, and the legendary staff of Joseph of Arimathea ... Don and Wen are back on the trail, delving deep into mythology and symbolism to unravel the secrets of the Old Ones. This time they are not alone. What is the mysterious Black Shade that haunts them as they seek answers to arcane riddles in a magical landscape. And why is Ben wearing a balaclava?Scions of Albion is the third book in the Doomsday series and continues the adventures of Don and Wen, begun in 'The Initiate'. "...a very mature, serious and, in many ways, learned study and in no way to imply a simplistic form, there is also about it the originality, freshness, zest and sheer joie de vivre of some of the much beloved adventure stories of my childhood - an irresistible and all too rare combination." (Amazon review of The Initiate).
About the Author: The friendship of Vincent and France has a peculiar alchemy of humour, scholarship and vision that has given birth to several books, including The Initiate, Heart of Albion and Giants Dance. Stuart France - writer and mystic, has a deep and practical knowledge of the Western Mystery Tradition, having followed a Path that has taken him hopping through the branches of the Trees of Knowledge and Delight. His astonishing work with symbolism and the interpretation of myth comes from a profound understanding and love of life, humanity. After gaining his BA in Philosophy and Literature, and his MA in Writing, this Child of Light studied with OBOD, AMORC, and the Servants of the Light. He declines all responsibility for this introduction. "I blame Wen....." Sue Vincent is a Yorkshire born writer and esoteric teacher. She has been immersed in the Mysteries all her life.
