About the Author

Rachel Schutt is the Senior Vice President for Data Science at News Corp. She completed her PhD in Statistics from Columbia University. She was working as a statistician for Google for several years. She holds several pending patents based on her work at Google. Rachel has a master's degree in mathematics from NYU, and another one in Engineering-Economic Systems and Operations Research from Stanford University.
