Bethany Blues takes us to Bethany Beach, a seemingly quiet town on the Delaware shore. The beach is wonderful and families vacation and occupy houses that have been in families for generations. There is also a share of hanky-panky as young women are left to fend for themselves in this summer paradise while their husbands return to the city to work during the week, leaving them restless and bored. The real estate business is lucrative both for the buying and selling as well as the rental market. It is inside this realm that Reggie, a retired school principal, and Joe, a former Philadelphia detective, find conspiracy and conniving under the glow of the summer sun.
