This tale begins with the murder of an activist priest in his own cathedral by a demented ex-FBI agent named Speer. Speer is furious with the "jammers" who have been hijacking local radio airwaves with their subversive diatribes. Detective Hannah Shaw must find Speer and stop his campaign.
