Why to buy: "Head First Android" cuts through the fog of dozens of components, hundreds of API calls and focuses
on the core skills that readers need. This book teaches Android development by getting readers to do Android
development. They'll learn the development of real applications step-by-step, just as if an experienced Android
developer was sitting right next to them.In a succession of steadily more advanced chapters, this book takes
readers through the process of creating their first Android app. This includes integrating apps with databases,
designing interfaces rationally, and integrating with third-party apps, among many topics.
