Located almost at the very southern tip of New Jersey, not far from where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Delaware Bay, stretches the last of the world's great boardwalks in Wildwood by the Sea.
From its humble beginnings in the late 19th Century and continuing up to the present, the boardwalk by Wildwood has been one constant in an ever changing culture. From snow-bound and forgotten in the dead of winter to its full summer glory, experience the boardwalk as it has never been seen.
Starting with early morning bike rides and ending with a pre-dawn thunderstorm, come and walk and explore the boards with journalist/writer and self-proclaimed boardwalk rat Bob Ingram. From the top of the ferris wheel to eye level with the wood on the boardwalk itself, Bob takes us on his daily tour of this two miles of fun, family, food and magic.
BOARDWALK was directed by award winning filmmakers Joseph Van Blunk and Gustave Rosario. Filmed from every possible angle, and during all four seasons, BOARDWALK was received to unanimous critical acclaim and has been broadcast a number of times on Public Television.
